When is Peppermint Mocha Shakeology available?
Peppermint Mocha Shakeology is available in the US and Canada on November 2, 2020.
Like the other Beachbody holiday flavor, Pumpkin Spice Shakeology, it is a limited edition flavor and is only available while supplies last. So mark your calendar for November 2 if it's on your pre-holiday wish list!
How soon will Peppermint Mocha Shakeology sell out?
Last year (2019) Peppermint Mocha Shakeology sold out on January 3, so it was available for approximately two months. It WILL sell out, since there is only a limited quantity produced, but it's anyone's guess how quickly it will go in 2020.

Why do people drink Shakeology?
Shakeology is a nutrition shake made from quality ingredients. I think of it as a meal replacement shake, rather than a protein shake, though it does contain protein.
It contains protein, fiber, antioxidants, vitamins and minerals — as well as phytonutrients, adaptogens, pre- and probiotics, and digestive enzymes.
Many people, myself included, drink Shakeology to get the nutrients that our diet might not normally provide. Even “healthy eaters” might be missing nutrients, or would benefit from some of the fruits, veggies, and good things in Shakeology.
When I drink Shakeology regularly it satisfies my sweet tooth and helps reduce food cravings which has always been my biggest diet "issue." I just feel more balanced and at peace around food.
Some people use Shakeology as an after-workout recovery drink, some use it to replace breakfast, and others for a yummy and healthy snack.
Peppermint Mocha Shakeology Ingredients and Nutrition Information

It contains Beachbody's proprietary vegan protein blend of pea protein, flaxeed, rice protein and quinoa seed. The Peppermint Mocha Shakeology is sweetened with organic cane sugar, and stevia, contains natural peppermint mocha flavor, xanthan gum, and Himalayan pink salt.

Is Peppermint Mocha Shakeology Vegan?
Yes, it is vegan.
Is Peppermint Mocha Shakeology GMO-Free?
According to Beachbody's website, Shakeology is not certified GMO-Free. "However, special care has been taken in the formulation of all supplements to exclude GMO based ingredients such as soy, canola and corn.”

It is not currently certified Gluten Free. However…
How much does Peppermint Mocha Shakeology cost?
Peppermint Mocha Shakeology comes in a box of 14 single-serve packets. It costs $74.95 in the US with a flat rate $6.95 shipping fee.
This is about $5.85 per serving.
How does Peppermint Mocha Shakeology taste?
The shake is a rich, creamy hot cocoa flavor with hints of coffee and cool, refreshing peppermint. Just what you would expect from the description “peppermint mocha.”
But does it taste good?
Since Shakeology is sold exclusively by Beachbody coaches you are going to hear from most of them that it tastes DELICIOUS!!!
Taste is a very personal thing, though. For me, all flavors of Shakeology taste somewhat "healthy." And that’s not unexpected or bad, because it’s filled with superfood fruits and veggies. That said, I don’t think you would confuse Peppermint Mocha Shakeology with a Starbucks Peppermint Mocha Frappuccino.
The taste will also depend on what liquid you use to make your shake, like water, whole milk, almond milk, coconut milk, etc.
Bottom line, if you like the taste of Peppermint Mocha Shakeology or not depends on your personal palate.
And if you don’t happen to like it, know that Shakeology, like All Beachbody products, comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. You can read all the details HERE.
Alternatives to Peppermint Mocha Shakeology that you can order online.
Let's be real. If you really want Peppermint Mocha Shakeology likely you can get a box or two. But what if you want it - gasp - when it's sold out? Or what if you want to try a cheaper peppermint mocha protein drink?
Not to worry, I found some Peppermint Mocha Shakeology alternatives and these are all available on Amazon, my favorite place to shop. There aren’t a lot to choose from, so I’ve also included some copycat recipes below.
Amazing Grass Protein Superfood Vegan Nutrition Shake in Chocolate Peppermint
One scoop has 130 calories, 3g fat, 6g carbs, 3g fiber, and 20g protein. Currently a 10-serving tub is $28.99 on Amazon so it's a very reasonable 2.89 per serving.
Paleo Protein Peppermint Mocha Protein Powder
This protein powder is gluten, dairy, and sugar-free, and sourced from non-GMO, hormone- and antibiotic-free, grass-fed beef. It's a perfect choice if you follow an AIP/autoimmune protocol, keto or Paleo diet. I personally like this protein powder because I try to include bone broth in my diet almost every day, but you'd never know it from the peppermint, hot chocolate and mocha flavor.
Soylent Mint Chocolate Plant Protein Meal Replacement Shake
These are bottles of ready-to-drink meal replacement shakes and it is mint chocolate, not true peppermint mocha. It has 20g of plant-based protein, 36g carbs, and only 1g sugar. This drink is fortified with 28 vitamins and minerals, 9 amino acids, omega-3 and omega-6.

Another simple alternative is to add sugar-free coffee syrups to chocolate or vanilla Shakeology or protein powder.
I couldn't find a peppermint mocha flavored syrup on Amazon, but Jordan's has Skinny Syrups in both Peppermint Bark and Chocolate Mocha flavor. I would use a little bit of each of the syrups in a chocolate or vanilla protein shake to make something similar to Peppermint Mocha Shakeology.
You can also add these 0-calorie syrups to coffee for a delicious holiday-inspired drink.

If you don't need the "Shakeology" component and just want a delicious peppermint mocha protein shake, try this recipe using ingredients you may already have on hand.
I recommend using a good-tasting chocolate protein powder. I like Syntha-6 or Quest brands. If you use vanilla protein powder, just add a tablespoon of cocoa powder to the recipe
