1 - Valentine's Day Chocolate-Covered Strawberries
Beautifully sweet, red ripe strawberries dipped in chocolate are a delicious treat any child will love. Grown-ups love them too!
You can dip the strawberries in melted semi-sweet chocolate chips, or use chocolate melts you can easily find at most grocery or craft stores. Chocolate melts come in pink, red, and white so you can add pretty detailing to your strawberries if you like.
Dipping strawberries is a fun activity to do with kids since you can melt the chocolate in the microwave. Just provide fun Valentine's sprinkles (I love this pink sprinkle mix from Amazon), pink, red, or white crystallized sugars, or even googly eyes to create silly Valentine's faces.

2 - Valentine’s Watermelon Strawberry Skewers
Healthy-ish Valentine’s Day treats for kiddos doesn’t get any easier than these adorable watermelon and strawberry skewers. What a fun way to encourage little ones to eat fruit!

3 - Valentine’s Snack Mix
You can find tons of recipes for delicious Valentine’s Day snack mixes, but most are chock-full of sugar. They may be coated with super sweet almond bark or melted chocolate, have festive red and pink candies, fluffy marshmallows, and a plethora of Valentine’s candies. Those recipes may look and taste amazing but they are not what anyone would call “healthy.”
This healthy-ish version uses freeze-dried strawberries giving the Valentine’s Day snack mix the vibrant sweet taste of strawberries without added sugar. It also has cereal and yogurt-covered raisins. It has just enough sweetness so kids (and adults!) will love it, without putting anyone into a Valentine’s sugar coma.

4 - Valentine’s Day Snack Board
Can we call this what it really is? A Valentine’s Day healthy-ish char-CUTE-rie board! Unlike many charcuterie boards that are not at all kid-friendly, little ones will love heart-shaped cheese slices, veggies, and toast, as well as fresh nutritious berries or other goodies in heart-shaped containers.
You can easily customize this Valentine’s snack board for your family or guests using their favorite cheeses, veggies, and fruits.

5 - Chocolate Strawberry Popcorn
I love this recipe because it is easy, it looks pretty, and it’s definitely a healthy-ish Valentine’s treat for kids.
To make this recipe even healthier, substitute carob chips or cacao nibs for semisweet chocolate chips.
Serve in a big bowl, or divvy up into individual food-safe cellophane bags tied with a red ribbon.

6 - Valentine’s Pepperoni Pizza Popcorn
I saw this recipe and immediately put mini pepperoni on my shopping list! This savory, hearty popcorn mix gives you the flavors of pepperoni pizza in a snack-friendly format. It’s perfect for kids of all ages on Valentine’s Day and, if we’re honest, for any day of the year.

7 - Valentine's 3-Ingredient Peanut Butter Balls
This is a recipe I have been making for years. It is a guilt-free peanut butter treat kids and adults love. (Great with a hot cup of coffee for a quick grown-up snack!)
Just add a few simple decorations and they are perfect for Valentine's Day. Roll in festive pink, white, or red sugar sprinkles or top with Wilton sugar hearts you can find at some grocery stores and craft stores.
Or you can roll out the peanut butter dough and cut with a heart-shaped cookie cutter. Drizzle with melted dark chocolate or candy melts.
PS, these healthy-ish Valetine’’s treats freeze well.

10 - Valentine’s Caprese Skewers
Food on a stick is so fun to eat, both for kids and adults. This recipe is super simple, just thread wooden skewers with cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, and fresh mozzarella. Serve with a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil or a splash of balsamic vinegar.

11 - Heart-Shaped Cheese Crackers
If the kiddos in your world like Goldfish, they will love these cute little heart-shaped cheese crackers. Best part is you get to control the ingredients and no sketchy preservatives allowed! To steal the Lay’s slogan, “betcha can’t eat just one!”
Hint: If you’re serving adults only, mix in a little chopped fresh rosemary or even red pepper flakes. Mmmmm!
