Weekly Meal Plan and Workout Schedule - 12-7-15
Meal Plan - Week of December 7
This week's theme is "healthy comfort food." I'm struggling in the food area right now so I need to make my meals as filling and as delish as possible - while sticking to my meal plan.
I'm doing my meal planning in Plan to Eat now and it saves tons of time and headache. If you are a Plan to Eat user, friend me and we can share recipes! My user name is (surprisingly) WeighToMaintain.

Workouts
May I make a confession? I have exercise ADD. It is really tough or me to stick to a program, other than a half marathon training plan. I bought The Master's Hammer & Chisel and, in the interest of writing reviews for the blog, I stopped the 21 Day Fix and jumped right into Hammer & Chisel.
Because I am very sedentary during the day other than my scheduled workouts, I plan to add 30 additional minutes at least 5 days this week. And because Hammer & Chisel is so intense, I'm pretty sure those 30 minutes will just be walking.
Monday | Iso Speed Hammer |
Tuesday | Chisel Endurance |
Wednesday | Rest Day |
Thursday | Total Body Hammer and 10 Minute Ab Hammer |
Friday | Chisel Cardio |
Saturday | Max Hammer Strength |
Sunday | Chisel Agility and 15 Minute Glute Chisel |
Goals for the Week
1. I will do six Hammer & Chisel workouts, plus a 30 minute walk five days.
2. I will follow the container portion control system, within a container or two, for five days. I know myself. If I shoot for perfection I end up disappointed. The 80/20 rule applies to health and fitness :)
3. I will spend 10-15 minutes reading or listening to personal development every day this week. I feel like I've lost a little of my wellness mojo.
Lessons Learned from Last Week
I am weak??? I'm not making horrific food choices - I'm mostly sticking to the plan - but I'm adding in extra food. Some is due to real hunger, but most often it is emotional eating. If I can't get things under control this week, I'll work to formulate a plan.
What's your plan?
You can use my plan as an example, or formulate your own. Let's approach the week with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Good luck!
